Highlighting II
Strategies for Study Success, Highlighting II, helps students build reading comprehension and active reading skills using passages with basic text. Students develop independent study skills by learning to identify three important elements when reading: the topic, main idea, and important details. This book begins at the pictorial level and proceeds to passages with basic text, teaching students how to find and identify the topic, main idea, and important details of various passages (passages increase in difficulty in Highlighting III).
