Highlighting I
Strategies for Study Success, Highlighting I, is designed to build reading comprehension and active reading skills. Students develop independent study skills by learning to identify three important elements when reading: the topic, main idea, and important details. This book focuses on the pictorial level, teaching students how to find and highlight the topic, main idea, and important details so that they can later identify these elements in varying levels of text (Highlighting II and Highlighting III).
